I (Will) was born in Holland and met Ingrid
(Born in Port Elizabeth - from Dutch parents) in Holland.

We got married in 1968 and left for South Africa
on the Randfontein the very next day.

After raizing 4 children we decidedto start
Willinga Lodge in 1994.

We started developing our week end hide away on the shores
of the Hartbeespoort Dam, so we could share this special place with our guests.

After traveling to Bali - Indonesia both of us where mesmerized
by the Balinese people and the splendour of the their
argitecture.

After 5 years of designing and building 
    "Bali at Willinga Lodge"      
was born.

We hope you enjoy our special place as much as we do.
